Zoku provides a home for business travelers who want to live in a city for between a few days and a few months. We're a new type of hotel offering a relaxed place to live, co-work and socialize across Europe. Join an international team of driven, proactive and fun-loving Zokus who all have one thing in common: a passion for connecting people across the globe.
TELL ME MORE
As our eCommerce Lead, you own conversion. Specifically: Zoku's online booking journey, our conversion rate optimization and experimentation program and the growth of direct revenue across all four locations.
This is the single biggest value-creation opportunity in our commercial plan. Every visitor who books with us directly instead of through an OTA is margin we keep, a guest relationship we own, and data we can act on. You're the person accountable for moving that number, through disciplined testing, sharp digital merchandising and a booking journey that stops getting in people's way.
You'll own the performance of our website and booking engine, using data, experimentation and merchandising to help guests find the right path to book a stay, coworking space, meeting or event, restaurant table and more. Working closely with the Head of Marketing & eCommerce, Revenue, Commercial, CRM and SEO teams, as well as external agency partners, you'll turn digital opportunities into measurable improvements.
One day, you might be investigating a drop in conversion; the next, you could be shipping a landing page, designing an A/B test, or rethinking how an offer is presented at the exact moment someone is deciding.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
No day looks the same as an eCommerce Lead… but here's a glimpse of what you can expect:
-
Own Conversion Rate Optimization: CRO is yours end to end, across the website and booking engine, for every product we sell online. You own the conversion rate, the roadmap that improves it and the reporting behind it.
-
Build & Run the Experimentation Program: Design and run a continuous testing program: maintain the hypothesis backlog, prioritize by expected impact, run clean A/B and multivariate tests, call the results honestly and roll the winners out across locations. You own the program, not just individual tests.
-
Grow Direct Bookings: Own the direct booking target. Develop and execute the initiatives that shift share away from OTAs and grow online revenue across stays, coworking, meetings and events, food and beverage and other commercial offerings.
-
Improve the Customer Journey: Find the friction across Zoku's booking paths and remove it, making it easier for guests to discover, compare and book the right product or experience.
-
Lead eCommerce Campaigns: Plan and launch website campaigns, landing pages and promotional journeys together with Marketing, Revenue and local teams.
-
Manage Digital Merchandising: Ensure rooms, workspaces, meeting packages, restaurant experiences, offers and direct-booking benefits are presented clearly, accurately and persuasively online.
-
Coordinate Website Content: Work with Marketing and local teams to keep website content relevant, consistent and commercially effective across all locations.
-
Analyze Performance: Monitor performance across the website, booking engine, meeting and event enquiries, restaurant reservations and digital campaigns. Turn data into clear insights and practical recommendations that improve conversion and revenue.
-
Work Smart with AI: Use AI throughout the cycle, analyzing session and funnel data, generating and pressure-testing hypotheses, drafting landing page and merchandising copy variants for testing, and speeding up reporting, so you can run more experiments than a team this size normally could.
-
Connect Digital Channels: Coordinate with SEO, paid media and CRM activities so traffic lands on relevant, high-performing digital experiences.
-
Manage Digital Projects: Coordinate website, booking-engine and tracking projects with agencies, technology partners and internal stakeholders.
-
Support Commercial Priorities: Help locations bring new rooms, packages and offers online while ensuring quality and consistency across the portfolio.
