As our Paid Search Specialist, you’ll take full ownership of scaling and optimising our search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns across multiple accounts and regions. You will leverage advanced techniques like scripting and automation to streamline operations and stay ahead of the curve by integrating AI-driven search capabilities into our strategy.
Headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a strong focus on the Dutch market; therefore, understanding or speaking Dutch is considered a strong advantage, though our main company language is English.
This position is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation in paid search who’s looking to take the next step in their marketing career – with plenty of room to drive impact and grow.
Key responsibilities
- Manage, optimise, and scale advanced Paid Search campaigns (Google Ads & Microsoft Advertising) across multiple accounts and geographical regions to drive business growth.
- Implement and maintain automated bidding strategies, scripts, and automation tools to maximize campaign efficiency and ROI.
- Stay at the forefront of the industry by testing and integrating AI search features and modern search behaviors into our keyword and campaign strategies.
- Develop and execute comprehensive search strategies, including structural A/B testing, landing page optimization, and audience targeting.
- Monitor complex campaign performance, spot global and regional trends, and deliver deep-dive reporting and analysis.
- Stay up to date with search engine algorithm updates, automation trends, and performance marketing innovations.
You
- Excellent proficiency in English (written and verbal) is a must.
- Fluency or working proficiency in Dutch is considered a strong plus, but not a hard requirement.
- 3+ years of experience managing mid-to-large scale Paid Search campaigns (Google Ads is a must).
- Proven track record of managing and structuring multiple accounts across different regions/markets.
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience using scripts (JavaScript for Google Ads) and advanced automation tools.
- Deep understanding of AI search dynamics, Smart Bidding, and utilizing AI features within search platforms.
- Expert knowledge of conversion tracking, Google Tag Manager (GTM), consent mode, and attribution models.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable optimizations.
- Proficiency with Google Analytics (GA4), Looker Studio, and advanced Excel/Google Sheets.
