The Project Manager is a pivotal role in ensuring successful project planning, scheduling and execution. The successful candidate will serve as the key liaison between HMT and the customer, ensuring that the goals and objectives of each project are accomplished safely, on time and within budget. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role serves as the primary point of contact and central communication hub for all technical and commercial aspects of a project.

Plan, direct and coordinate all activities associated with assigned projects, including specification review, budget and proposal development, bid preparation, scheduling, staffing requirements and resource allocation across all project phases.

Review and interpret project scope and customer requirements, and effectively communicate these to relevant HMT teams, including Procurement, Engineering, Production, Construction and other departments responsible for successful project execution.

Build and nurture strong stakeholder relationships, being the ambassador and central communication hub between HMT and our customers.

Drive problem-solving and troubleshooting in collaboration with customer stakeholders and site teams, addressing scheduling, performance and scope-related challenges.

Oversee project setup, cost control and schedule management.

Ensure timely and accurate project invoicing to maintain positive cash flow and minimize delays or re-billing.

Proactively identify scope changes as they arise and communicate relevant information to Technical Advisors, Supervisors, Field Crews and the Customer as appropriate.

Lead negotiations with clients on the commercial impact of change orders.

Arrange all rental equipment and jobsite supply agreements, and secure and manage subcontractor agreements.

Uphold and maintain HMT protocols and administrative policies.

A university degree (preferred)
-
A minimum of 1 years of project management experience in a relevant field

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Project

Full professional proficiency in both English and Dutch, and residency in the Netherlands

Experience managing projects in the Petro/Chemical industry (including terminals, refineries or other industrial environments) is a distinct advantage
