As the Product Owner for BauWatch CheckIn and the Worker App, you own the "Worker" side of our unified platform. You are responsible for the digital experience that connects workers on the ground to corporate site managers, ensuring that access control is seamless, compliant, and data-driven. You aren't just building an app; you are transforming how the construction industry manages its workforce and site safety through digital-first thinking that respects hardware reality.
This isn't a maintenance role. We're scaling aggressively and need someone who can handle the full scope from gathering and translating business requirements, to supporting and owning the commercial success of the product lines.
What you’ll do
Own the Worker Platform Strategy: Define the roadmap for the Worker App and CheckIn solutions, transitioning from fragmented tools MyBW, BauWatch CheckIn and "Worker" to a unified platform (e.g. integrating CheckIn reporting into MyBW)
Drive Commercial Success: Manage the product features to contribute directly to EBITDA through value-added services, ensuring our digital offerings make our physical access hardware ten times more valuable.
Bridge Physical and Digital: Partner closely with the Head of Physical Products & IoT to ensure the Worker App integrates seamlessly with hardware like turnstiles and mobile nodes for a cohesive customer experience.
Master the Product Lifecycle: Handle the full scope from gathering business requirements through discovery and development to launch and optimization across 11 countries.
Champion the User: Spend time on-site shadowing and interviewing workers and site managers to understand their challenges and translate them into a concrete digital roadmap.
Push Modern Practices: Implement AI tools and agile processes to improve delivery velocity and shipping cycles.
