Naast ons hoofdkantoor in de Verenigde Staten, werken we nauw samen met onze collega’s van JD Engineers in Joure. Ter versterking van ons team zijn wij momenteel op zoek naar een enthousiaste collega voor de functie van Field Service Engineer.
Over de functie Als Field Service Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het uitvoeren van service- en onderhoudswerkzaamheden, het installeren en inbedrijfstellen van onze machines en het oplossen van technische storingen bij klanten wereldwijd. Je werkt zelfstandig, denkt oplossingsgericht en schakelt direct met klanten. De planning wordt door ons geregeld, maar op locatie los je technische vraagstukken creatief en effectief op.
Deze functie betekent dat je voornamelijk reist - je ontdekt verschillende landen, maakt kennis met diverse culturen en vertegenwoordigt ons merk over de hele wereld. Voor wie houdt van afwisseling en een internationaal karakter, biedt deze rol een uitdagende kans.
Kernverantwoordelijkheden • Installeren en inbedrijfstellen van machines en productielijnen • Preventief onderhoud, reparaties en revisies uitvoeren • Oplossen van storingen – mechanisch, elektrotechnisch of softwarematig • Klanten adviseren en commerciële kansen signaleren

To strengthen our team, we are currently looking for an enthusiastic Field Service Engineer.
About the Role As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out service and maintenance activities, installing and commissioning our machinery, and troubleshooting technical issues at customer sites around the world. You will work independently, think in a solution-oriented way, and communicate directly with customers. While we take care of the planning, you will be responsible for resolving technical challenges efficiently and creatively on site.
This is a highly international position involving extensive travel. You'll visit customers across the globe, experience different countries and cultures, and represent our company worldwide. If you enjoy variety, independence, and an international working environment, this role offers an exciting opportunity.
Key Responsibilities • Install and commission machinery and complete production lines • Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and machine overhauls • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues • Advise customers and identify commercial opportunities
Wie ben jij?
• MBO of HBO werk- en denkniveau • Relevante technische achtergrond in Mechatronica, Elektrotechniek, Werktuigbouwkunde, Elektrische of Mechanische Engineering • Je hebt minimaal een aantal jaren ervaring in een buitendienst- of servicefunctie • Je vindt het leuk om internationaal te reizen – het grootste deel van je werk vindt plaats op locatie bij klanten over de hele wereld • Je vindt het niet erg om regelmatig een weekend van huis te zijn • Je bent zelfstandig, flexibel, oplossingsgericht en hebt doorzettingsvermogen • Je spreekt goed Nederlands en Engels, Duits is een pre (maar geen must)

Who Are You? • MBO or HBO level of work and education • A relevant technical background in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline • At least several years of experience in a field service or technical service role • You enjoy international travel, as the majority of your work will take place at customer sites around the world • You are comfortable being away from home (including weekends) on a regular basis • You are independent, flexible, solution-oriented, and persistent • You have a good command of English
