Themed Entertainment – Associate Project Manager

Adirondack Studios (ADKS), a global leader in the design, build, and installation of themed entertainment spaces and experiences, is seeking additional Associate Project Managers to support the North American Project Delivery team. As an Associate Project Manager, you’ll assist with, and where necessary lead, project management of Adirondack Studios projects as assigned. In addition, you’ll support the overall Project Delivery Department needs to ensure increased efficiency and ongoing success of the Project Delivery team.
With a combined space of 260,000 sf. in production facilities in upstate New York, Orlando and Dubai, as well as support facilities and offices in Pasadena, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Singapore and Shanghai, ADKS’ team of 360 artisans, managers and installers has provided ideation, concept & schematic design, design development, custom fabrication, technical support and installation & commissioning services for some of the world’s biggest amusement and leisure attractions, real estate developments, performance venues, public art, brand experiences and cultural exhibits – over 5,000 projects and counting. What You’ll Do:

Support or serve as the producer, champion, and driver of the project, ensuring that the project moves successfully forward through its lifecycle to completion and client sign off.

Supporting or managing projects with a special focus on budget, schedule, and quality delivery to meet, and where possible, exceed client expectations.

Embrace software and technological innovations; supporting and driving the department’s ongoing pursuit of innovative strategies

In conjunction with Production and Technical team, establish and maintain a schedule for specific projects, and publish weekly updates for analysis and review by in-house personnel and Client.

Maintain a consistent flow of communication both internally and externally to keep all key stakeholders informed and aware of project issues. This can include using RFIs, submittals, and any other project reporting and communication tools

Maintain all necessary project logs and reports (project exposure log, etc.) for each project, tracking potential changes to scope. Where applicable, work with Business Development and Client to review and gain approval on change orders

Ensure that all change orders are properly kicked off and distributed throughout the company to allow for timely completion of the work

Evaluate, solicit, engage and disengage subcontractors, vendors, and non-production personnel as required to expedite project deliverables

Track project budgets with weekly spending projections, and report any deviations or procedural modifications on a regular or immediate basis as needed

Assist Business Development and Portfolio Directors with estimating and advising on methodology and project formatting

Serve the project as the primary liaison between the Client and the ADKS

Coordinate project meetings and reviews with project appropriate personnel. This includes crafting meeting agendas, recording and publishing notes, and identifying/assigning action items.

Contribute to executive, staff, and administrative meetings as required.

Work collaboratively between Business Development, Project Delivery, and Accounting for timely acquisition of letters of agreement, contracts, POs, and change orders, and assist with change order processing.

Travel within the U.S. and abroad as projects require.

This role offers a starting salary range of $70 – $90k per year. The actual salary rate provided will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, the individual applicant’s qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and, if applicable, the position’s location.
