You work within a landscape team that, together with traffic designers and cultural engineering advisors, shapes the public spaces of Utrecht. The team consists of approximately 30 professionals, a great mix of young talent and experienced experts, and works on diverse projects like the Afrikalaan, Lombokplein, and Majoor Bosshardtplantsoen. You work largely independently, manage junior designers and drafters, and seamlessly switch between the design studio and consultation tables with clients, stakeholders, and residents. What will you be doing? - Designing and developing plans from preliminary design (SO) to final design (DO) level, including management assessments. - Collaborating in interdisciplinary project teams led by a technical project manager or senior designer. - Managing drafters, junior designers, and technical designers. - Conducting consultations with clients, stakeholders, and residents. - Presenting to project teams, external parties, and, when necessary, at an administrative level.
