Events Project Coordinator
Your role
As an Events Project Coordinator at EAGE, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of a diverse portfolio of conferences, workshops, short courses, and exhibitions. This role involves both leading smaller-scale events independently and managing specific components of larger, high-profile events.
Your tasks and responsibilities

Manage logistics and operations for smaller events, ensuring smooth execution and participant satisfaction.

Lead side activities at larger events, such as social gatherings, networking sessions, field trips, and meetings.

Manage exhibitions and coordinate production suppliers.

Operate within an agile team, emphasizing ownership, timely execution, and collaboration.

Maintain strong communication with suppliers, committees, and internal stakeholders.

Support event marketing and promotion in partnership with communications specialists.

Keep all event-related digital assets, including websites, accurate and up to date.

Oversee event budgets, including cost control, forecasting, and reporting.
Your profile
-
A relevant education or experience. Minimum HBO level or international equivalent
-
At least 3 years of relevant experience with international events, ideally in a similar organization

Experience with organising tradeshows and exhibitions, and managing communications with exhibitors

Experience with organising social events of various sizes

Excellent communication skills and fluent English (written and spoken)

Comfortable working with diverse stakeholders, including scientific committees and internal teams

Strong budgeting and financial management skills
This is a dynamic role suited to a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a passion for events, strong organisational skills, a hands-on mindset, and a strong sense of ownership.
We also welcome candidates who are returning to the workforce or considering a career change. Fluency in Dutch is not required. Candidates currently living in the Netherlands will be considered first.

A market conform salary between €3.400,00 and €4.900,00 fulltime (40 hours per week) per month depending on experience
