Role overview
At Air Products, safety, reliability and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do. As an E&I Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and reliability of electrical and instrumentation equipment across our production facilities in Rotterdam.
You will join a close-knit Maintenance team where people support each other, share knowledge and take pride in keeping the plant running safely and efficiently. Whether you're an experienced technician or looking to further develop your skills, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of equipment and technologies while continuing to grow your technical expertise.

What you will bring
MBO Level 4 working and thinking level (Electrical/ Instrumentation)
Experience in electrical and/or instrumentation maintenance within an industrial environment.
The ability to troubleshoot technical issues and work in a structured and safe manner.
A practical, hands-on mindset with a willingness to learn.
A team-oriented attitude and clear interpersonal skills.
A strong focus on safety, quality and reliability.
Good knowledge of Dutch (preferably) and English
In this role you will
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment.
Diagnose faults, determine root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
Prepare, plan and complete maintenance activities safely and efficiently.
Support plant shutdowns and turnaround activities.
Work with permit-to-work systems and perform task-specific risk assessments.
Coordinate and supervise contractors when required.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, technical documentation and equipment data.
Help ensure spare parts and maintenance stock are handled effectively.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that increase plant reliability and safety.
Work closely with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering colleagues to solve technical challenges.
Support the maintenance and compliance of E&I-related safety systems.
Certifications such as VCA, NEN3140, NEN3840 or a willingness to obtain them.
