About the Role
As Project Assistant AVRR, you will provide administrative support to the Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration team of IOM The Netherlands. This is a hands-on support role for someone who enjoys keeping processes running smoothly and ensuring that information, requests, and follow-up actions are well organized.
Your work will include:
- Supporting the implementation and monitoring of project activities.
- Coordinating requests, approvals and administrative actions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintaining migrant files with relevant information received from internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting financial administration and monitoring of the project
- Responding to general information requests and supporting colleagues where needed.
Requirements
For this position, you should have:
- A school diploma with relevant professional experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Relevant experience in administration, coordination or project support.
- Excellent administration and coordination skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive working relationships.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in Dutch, both oral and written.
Experience with governmental authorities, international organizations, NGOs, migrant support, vulnerable groups or a multicultural working environment is an advantage.
