The Opportunity
We're seeking a Restaurant Manager who shares this belief. Someone who understands that a great restaurant is built on people, culture, and a relentless commitment to excellence.
This isn't a floor management role. You'll shape the Satkara brand, defining how we're seen, experienced, and remembered. You'll develop our marketing strategy, position us within Amsterdam's fine-dining landscape, and guide our kitchen and service teams towards a single standard of excellence.
You'll report directly to the Board of Directors weekly. Your voice will matter. Your ideas will shape real decisions. Your leadership will define who we become.

What You Will Do
You'll shape our identity, from how Satkara looks and feels to how we speak to the world.
You'll build and lead our marketing, covering press, partnerships, social media, events, and everything that brings the right guests to our table.
You'll position us by understanding what makes Satkara unique in a city full of good restaurants and making sure Amsterdam knows it.
You'll connect our kitchen and floor, because great food and great service are one experience.
You'll keep raising the bar, finding smarter ways to work, better systems to use, and fresh ideas to try.
You'll develop our people, training, mentoring, and inspiring the team through clarity, high standards, and genuine care.
You'll build lasting relationships with food critics, media, partners, and guests who believe in what we're creating.
And every week, you'll sit down with the Board to share where we are, where we're going, and what we need to get there.
Who You Are
You've worked at a high level in fine dining or luxury hospitality, preferably with Michelin-starred experience. Michelin-starred experience is strongly preferred.
You have a natural sense for what makes a brand memorable and the skills to bring that vision to life through marketing and positioning.
You know how to lead without micromanaging. You set the standard, and your team rises to meet it.
You understand Amsterdam's dining scene and what it takes to earn a place in it.
You communicate with clarity and confidence, whether in a board meeting or a quiet word before service.
You're organised, calm under pressure, and always looking for a better way.
You speak excellent English. Dutch is a welcome bonus.
Above all, you care deeply about hospitality, not as a profession, but as a way of being.
