At The Athlete’s FoodCoach, we turn elite nutrition science into simple daily guidance any coach can deliver. Proven at the top, now scaling coach-led to athletes everywhere. Product is our scaling lever. We’re looking for a Head of Product to own product strategy, the roadmap and delivery for a coach-led, multi-sided platform: a modular, coach-facing core that serves multiple channels, the coach cockpit, gym chains and direct-to-coach, without rebuilding per channel. It has to do two things at once: hold up in elite environments for our credibility partners, and scale commercially to coaches everywhere. You set the direction and get the full team shipping it. The model keeps the coach in charge. We assess each athlete and recommend the priorities and a first action. The coach then sits down with the athlete to set that week’s action and coach it. We guide. The coach coaches.

What you’ll do?
- Own product strategy and the roadmap across all channels, the coach cockpit, the coach-led B2B2C platform, the consumer app, and the AI nutritional guidance layer.
- Evolve the coach cockpit from its current MVP into a tool coaches actively rely on and renew for.
- Shape the product so new channels (gym chains, direct-to-coach) are served from one core. Aligning business and product needs with the IT architecture our senior tech lead owns.
- Lead product across the team. Sharpen how we work so a strong team ships more and faster, hands-on alongside them.
- Drive the AI nutritional guidance layer (the coach copilot).Our primary long-term moat, not a bolt-on feature.
- Own the product–market feedback loop with the Head of Growth and the MD. Synthesise coach, partner and market input with usage data, and turn it into prioritised build decisions: product validation together with scaling growth.
- Protect focus: say no to low-impact work and keep scope tight to what moves the gate.
- Keep the product credible where it's proven: serving our credibility partners (Team Visma | Lease a Bike, Red Bull APC). While making it a commercially scalable product for the coaches of the world.
- Grow the product capability over time, and carry the product narrative at board and investor gate reviews.
Your experience
- Platform product experience, not feature-factory. You’ve owned architecture and sequencing on a multi-sided or multi-channel platform, and know the structural cost of getting modularity wrong.
- B2B2C / multi-sided background. You’ve shipped products serving both a business user (the coach) and a consumer (the athlete) from one platform, and navigated that tension in production.
- A hands-on operator: discovery, specs and sprint facilitation personally led now, while building the capacity to delegate.
- Enough technical fluency to partner with a senior tech lead.You can hold an architecture conversation and weigh build-vs-buy together, without owning the IT architecture yourself.
- AI and data product sensibility.You know what’s technically tractable, what infrastructure it needs, and how to sequence so the AI layer compounds over time.
- Commercial awareness.You translate what coaches, partners and chains need into build priorities.
- You turn strong engineering capacity into validated product, build the product discipline and ways of working that get more output from the team, and make calls with incomplete information.

Your team
You lead product across a strong team. Today seven engineers, a senior tech lead who owns the IT architecture, and a UX designer (Java/Spring Boot backend, React Native mobile, AWS). The starting point is not more capacity: the engineering depth is already there. The day-one priority is getting more output from the full team through better ways of working, and turning that capacity into validated product that serves our growth plans. You work closely with the tech lead to align business and IT architecture, and directly with the Head of Growth and the Managing Director of FoodCoach: product validation together with scaling growth.
