ING Wholesale Banking is looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst with a strong background in banking payments and payment processing. This is a role for someone who already understands how payments move through a bank, how payment standards are applied in practice, and how to translate business needs into effective IT solutions.
You will operate at the intersection of business and technology, helping to analyse change, assess impacts, define requirements, and support the delivery of solutions within a complex payments environment.
Working within ING's Transaction Services environment, you will contribute to solutions that support payment processing and transaction services for financial institutions.

You will become part of ING Wholesale Banking's Transaction Services Delivery organisation, collaborating with teams across the Netherlands, India, the Philippines and Bulgaria.

Requirements
What you'll bring
Deep knowledge of banking payments
You have a solid understanding of core payment products and payment flows, including:

SEPA Credit Transfer (SCT)

SEPA Instant Payments (SCT Inst)

SEPA Direct Debit (SDD)

Cross-border payments
This role requires someone who can contribute immediately and does not need to learn the fundamentals of the payments domain.
Strong understanding of payment standards and messaging
You have hands-on knowledge of ISO 20022 and understand the purpose and business relevance of payment and reporting message formats, including:

pain messages

pacs messages
-
camt messages
You are also familiar with the broader MT-to-MX migration landscape and understand where these standards fit within the banking payment chain.
End-to-end payment processing expertise
You understand the complete payment lifecycle within a banking environment and can assess the impact of change across the payment chain

A salary ranging from €4,596.95 to €5,878.36 gross per month, based on a 36-hour workweek and depending on experience.
