Working Pattern: Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite at the client’s Amsterdam office
About the Role
Proservartner is seeking an experienced Finance & Payments Transformation Programme Manager to support a major client transformation initiative in the Netherlands.
The successful candidate will bring strong programme and project management expertise, combined with experience in Finance and Payments transformation environments. Particular experience within KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering Regulation) programmes is essential.
This role will focus on driving programme delivery, governance, process improvement, stakeholder alignment, and reporting across multiple workstreams and delivery partners.
Key ResponsibilitiesProgramme & Project Management
- Lead and coordinate Finance and Payments transformation activities across multiple workstreams.
- Develop and maintain programme plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure delivery activities remain aligned with programme objectives and business priorities.
- Monitor progress and proactively address delivery risks and issues.
- Drive programme execution to achieve agreed timelines and outcomes.
Governance & Stakeholder Management
- Establish and manage governance structures across all participating parties.
- Coordinate communication and decision-making between business stakeholders, project teams, vendors, and third parties.
- Facilitate governance forums, steering committees, and programme reviews.
- Ensure actions, risks, decisions, and dependencies are appropriately tracked and managed.
- Build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders across the programme.
Process Improvement & Standardisation
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within Finance, Payments, KYC, and AML-related activities.
- Support the standardisation of processes, controls, and ways of working.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and programme delivery.
- Ensure transformation activities align with regulatory and compliance requirements.
Programme Reporting
- Develop and maintain programme reporting and status updates.
- Produce executive-level reports, dashboards, and steering committee materials.
- Track delivery performance against agreed objectives, milestones, and KPIs.
- Provide clear visibility of programme progress, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Support informed decision-making through accurate and timely reporting.
Required Experience
- Proven experience leading Finance and Payments transformation programmes.
- Strong project and programme management capability.
- Experience working within KYC (Know Your Customer) programmes.
- Experience supporting AML / Anti-Money Laundering regulatory initiatives.
- Strong governance, stakeholder management, and reporting experience.
- Demonstrated experience delivering process improvement and standardisation initiatives.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders, delivery teams, and third-party providers.
- Ability to operate effectively in complex and regulated environments.
