Job responsibilies:

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements under relevant NL legislation, including Arbeidsomstandighedenwet, Milieuwet, reporting, risk assessments and others

Manage and implement an audit process to ensure compliance with EHS legislation and best practice working with relevant managers to ensure implementation of improvements and changes
-
Work with the Operations leadership teams at all levels to ensure that the organisation is compliant to EHS legislation through line managers focusing on safety in their areas

Provide learning and development opportunities to encourage the cascade of health and safety
-
Ensure that any ‘lessons learnt’ from any incident are cascaded and shared to aid the development of the safety culture

Liaise with external agents during any investigations

Liaise with the Group Insurance teams and external legal support to ensure that Employer Liability claims are minimised as much as possible

To drive a culture of EHS engagement and EHS ownership at operations level
-
Support line managers and provide advice in the event of accidents and ensure that where necessary reviews are carried out to ensure improvements and avoidance of further incidents

Develop plans to ensure continuous improvement in all areas of EHS and drive a culture of responsibility across all levels within the business

To drive and focus on achieving zero lost time accidents

Previous EHS management role in a busy, multisite environment with warehousing and transport elements.

Demonstrable track record of influencing managers at all levels.
What we can offer to you?

Fixed-term employment contract for a duration of 12 months;

The first month will be considered the probationary period;

The position is based at the Veghel office;

The employment contract is for an average of 40 hours per week;

Working-from-home allowance (€2.45 net per day). The guideline is a maximum of 2 days working from home per week for full-time employees (subject to agreement with the manager);

Holiday allowance of 8% of the annual gross salary (annual gross salary equals 12 times the monthly gross salary);

Performance-Related Bonus (BAB);

Personal Choice Budget of €750 per year for sustainable employability;

25 vacation days (200 hours) per year based on a 40-hour working week;
