As Housekeeping Coordinator, you play a key supporting and coordinating role within the Housekeeping department. You ensure daily housekeeping operations run smoothly and that our accommodations meet the high cleanliness, quality and guest service standards of Blue Bay Curaçao to excellence.
The position
- Coordinating daily housekeeping operations and schedules based on occupancy and operational needs.
- Acting as a central point of contact between Housekeeping, Front Office, Maintenance and other departments.
- Registering housekeeping-related issues, requests and follow-ups in designated systems.
- Supporting inspections of accommodations and common areas and ensuring timely follow-up actions.
- Assisting with linen management, inventory control and ordering of housekeeping supplies.
- Supporting housekeeping supervisors with planning, reporting and quality control.
- Handling guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping services in a professional manner.
- Contributing to process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality and guest satisfaction.
- Creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree or MBO+/HBO level, preferably in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Proven experience in housekeeping, preferably in a coordinating or similar role.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Customer- and service-oriented mindset.
- Able to work independently as well as within a team in a dynamic environment.
- Fluent in English and Dutch; Spanish and Papiamentu are a plus.
- Professional, reliable and proactive attitude with a strong sense of responsibility.
