About the Role

As Finance Administrator, based in the Breukelen, Netherlands, you will play a key role in the day-to-day financial administration of the organisation. You will process debtor and creditor administration, handle invoicing and bank bookings, support monthly closing and reporting, and contribute to payroll processing. This is a part-time role at 50-60% (2.5 to 3 days per week), offering the flexibility to combine this position with other commitments while still making a meaningful contribution to the Finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Administration: Processing debtor and creditor administration; performing bank bookings and accounting corrections.
- Invoice Processing: Processing purchase and cost invoices, employee declarations, bank mutations, and salary journals for multiple business entities.
- Reporting: Preparing financial prognoses, liquidity budgets, cashflow statements, and corporate finance reports.
- Monthly Closing: Preparing monthly overviews and processing monthly invoicing.
- Payroll Support: Supporting salary journal processing and liaising with payroll providers.
- Manager Support: Supporting the Finance Manager and department managers with financial data and ad-hoc requests.
What do you need to succeed?
- 3-5 years of demonstrable accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Relevant educational background in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBO-4, HBO, or equivalent qualification)
- Solid knowledge of Dutch administration, tax and accounting rules
- Experience with accounting software (e.g. Exact, Twinfield)
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.
- Analytical and numerically accurate - precise and detail-oriented
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proactive, caring, and patient working style
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Experience in a start-up or scale-up environment is an advantage
- Dutch language proficiency is a must; good command of English (written and spoken) is required

- Report information security incidents, suspected breaches, or quality non-conformities promptly via the designated reporting channel (JIRA service desk), in line with the Incident Management Policy.
- Support Rojo's continuous improvement objectives by contributing to the identification and reporting of risks, issues, and improvement opportunities within their area of work.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and contractual obligations relevant to their role, including data protection legislation (GDPR).
