We're located in the charming Plantagebuurt neighborhood – a peaceful, cultural enclave east of the city center – within walking distance of Amsterdam's iconic canals and the city's historic heart.
Our rooms are carefully decorated and reflect the building's rich past, but with all the modern luxury and design of today: from elegant rooms for romantic city trips to spacious rooms for the whole family.

Are you that person who always goes the extra mile? Does it fulfill you making people happy and do you know exactly how to make guests feel at home? And do you have a service-oriented attitude and mindset? Then you might be the new Host of the Lancaster Amsterdam!
You are the point of contact for our guests and provide them with all the information they need. You'll help guests check-in and tell them which highlights they really shouldn't miss. In the meantime, you get a call from a guest who wants to reserve a room for next week. No problem, you will take care of that too. You notice that the next guests are ready to check out, so you help them immediately. You're dying to know how they experienced their time with us. You take their suitcases, so they can hop into town before they leave. They tell you that they will come back for a visit soon. That's why you do it!
You are a jack of all trades and get a lot of energy from having variety in your work. You don't mind helping out your colleagues in another hotel! You are super flexible.
WHO ARE YOU?

You're the creator of memories; you are full of energy and creative to go the extra mile for our guests;

Ideally you're having some experience in the F&B departments;

You're available for 4 or 5 days a week;

You're speaking English and preferably Dutch, or you have a great willingness to learn;

We're welcoming guests every day into our home. We'll take them through the journey of our check-in and create a relaxing place for our guests;

We assist with checking in where necessary and explain the facilities of the hotel;

We welcome our guests with a welcome drink;

We're serving our guests tea during day and wine by night with some great pairings of bites;
-
We're creating memories, even early morning for breakfast by serving a great breakfast with local produce;
-
We're taking care of the environment by using locally sourced products, saving on water usage and using hotel grown herbs in our operation;
-
We're thinking about évery step of the guest within the hotel. When everything fits, that's where we score;

We offer you 70% travel allowance if you live further than 10 kilometers from your work, with a maximum of € 10.71 per day.
