TESLA is looking for a Tooling Engineer intern to join our team in EMEA Service Tooling Engineering, to work with one of the most progressive vehicle brands in the world. This position requires a significant amount of interaction with our internal and external stakeholders. This position is a key contributor to our Service Organization and is based in Tilburg NL. What You'll Do-
Help establish the team’s presence in the EMEA market by understanding and implementing our market-specific requirements

Identify and develop practical solutions to enable fast, seamless, and revolutionary service

Collaborate effectively with engineers, regional technical operations leads, service leads and technicians, and global tooling team to understand issues in service and resolve them in market

Develop a concept and build prototype solutions for new custom tools

Perform tooling validation with engineers and technicians

Strategize and implement process improvements

What You'll Bring-
Educational background in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive or related engineering field

Excellent fundamental engineering knowledge and have examples of applied engineering success through work, projects, or academic endeavors

Ability to research information, solve challenging problems, and coordinate projects under tight timing constraints

Level C1 in English (written and spoken)

Strong verbal and written communication – you must be able to explain technical concepts to non-technical people as well as peers and stakeholders from different parts of the organization.

Hands on experience building mechanical and/or electrical systems

Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
