About the Role
Activate Marketing, B.V. is looking for a creative, digitally-savvy Content Creator + Designer to join our team on a part-time basis. This role sits at the intersection of content and design - you'll spend the majority of your time producing and editing social content for organic and paid campaigns, while also bringing your design eye to wider marketing assets when needed.
We're after someone who moves fast, understands social-first storytelling, and can turn briefs into thumb-stopping content across Meta and TikTok - as well as other channels. If you're a natural on-platform thinker who also knows their way around a design tool, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
Social Content (Primary Focus)
· Create and edit both short-form and long-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Stories, and other social formats
· Produce static and carousel posts for Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and other social channels
· Support both organic and paid social campaigns - from concept through to final asset delivery
· Edit raw footage into polished, on-brand social videos with captions, music, and graphics
· Stay on top of social trends, formats, and platform updates to keep content feeling fresh and native
· Collaborate with the team to develop content briefs and creative directions
· Manage content revisions based on feedback from internal stakeholders and clients
Design & Marketing Assets (Secondary Focus)
· Create design assets to support broader marketing campaigns - including event posters, OOH banners, digital ads, and other collateral
· Ensure all assets are on-brand and meet the specifications required for each format and channel
· Support the team with ad hoc design requests as needed
What We're Looking For
Essential
· Proven experience creating and editing content for social media, specifically Meta (Facebook + Instagram) and TikTok
· Strong video editing skills - comfortable cutting, pacing, captioning, and finishing social-ready video
· Good eye for design and ability to produce polished visual assets
· Understanding of both organic and paid social content requirements
· Self-starter who can manage their own time and deliver to deadlines
· Strong communication skills and comfortable working remotely with a small team
Nice to Have
· Based in or near Amsterdam - in-person collaboration at Activate Marketing, B.V.'s offices or client sites would be welcomed a few times a month
· Experience with additional social channels (LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
· Background in marketing agency or brand-side environments
· Experience creating assets for OOH, print, or event marketing
· Familiarity with paid social best practices and creative performance metrics
Tools & Software
Our preferred tools are CapCut for video editing and Canva for design, but we know great work comes from a variety of workflows. Experience with any combination of tools works great for us.
