Front Office Staff – Magnolia Hotel Amsterdam
Hotel the Neighbour's Magnolia, a charming 3-star hotel located in the heart of Amsterdam, is seeking an independent and customer-focused Front Office Staff member. This is a part-time, dynamic role within a welcoming and warm team.
Your Role
As the first point of contact for our guests, you’ll create a memorable experience from check-in to check-out. Your tasks will include:
- Handling guest check-ins and check-outs using our reservation system.
- Managing room bookings and addressing special guest requests.
- Providing tourist information and arranging restaurant reservations.
- Offering wake-up services, selling reception items, and answering phone calls.
- Resolving guest questions and complaints in a professional, friendly manner, including in English and (preferably) German.
- Coordinating with guests and colleagues to ensure smooth communication and operations.

About You
You are passionate about hospitality and committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences. With our current Booking.com score of 8.3, we’re constantly striving for improvement—and we want you to share that goal!
Our ideal candidate has:
- Demonstrable experience in the hospitality industry, ideally at a 3-star level.
- Fluency in Dutch and English (knowledge of German is a plus).
- Flexibility to work a mix of day, evening, including weekends and public holidays.
- A proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Contract & Availability
- Contract hours: 15 to 24 hours per week
- Typical shifts: 07:00 to 15:00 or 15h00 till 22h00.
