As a Powertrain Control Engineer, you will work on the development and optimization of advanced control systems for modern automotive powertrains. In this role, you will design and implement control algorithms that improve performance, efficiency, and reliability of vehicle propulsion systems. You will work within multidisciplinary engineering teams operating in the fields of Mechatronics and Control Engineering, using model-based development tools such as MATLAB and Simulink.
As part of TMC, you will work as an Employeneur: an engineer with the freedom and responsibility of entrepreneurship, while being supported by a strong technical community. Your Challenges
- Design and develop control algorithms for powertrain systems (ICE, hybrid, or electric vehicles)
- Model and simulate dynamic systems and vehicle subsystems
- Implement and test control strategies in embedded environments and ECU platforms
- Validate control performance through simulations, test benches, and vehicle testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, hardware, and systems engineers
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of powertrain efficiency, drivability, and safety
