Assistant Store Manager (38h) – KOMONO Flagship Amsterdam

To strengthen our flagship store team in Amsterdam, we're currently looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager. In this role, you'll support the Store Manager in leading the team, driving sales, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience every day.
What we're looking for
- You have proven experience in retail, including team leadership responsibilities.
- You thrive in a dynamic retail environment and know how to keep a cool head when things get busy.
- You're flexible and available to work weekends and peak trading periods.
- You speak English fluently.
- Basic Dutch reading and comprehension skills are required, as our optical training programme is conducted in Dutch.
- You take initiative, communicate clearly, and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves.
- You genuinely connect with the KOMONO brand and feel excited about representing it every day.

Important
As KOMONO also offers prescription eyewear, completing a company-paid optical training programme during working hours is mandatory. Since this programme is taught in Dutch, candidates must be able to read and understand Dutch.
Your responsibilities
- Act as the right hand of the Store Manager and take ownership when needed.
- Support the daily management and development of the store team.
- Help create a positive, motivated, and sales-driven culture.
- Ensure the store consistently delivers excellent customer service.
- Contribute to achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Maintain high standards in visual merchandising, operations, and store presentation.
- Create an energetic and welcoming store environment for both customers and colleagues.
