Xeltis is a medtech company pioneering restorative devices that enable the body to regenerate its own tissue. Our breakthrough aXess technology gives haemodialysis patients a living vascular access solution, and it is now entering the market. Joining us means helping bring a genuinely new option to dialysis patients across Europe.
This field-based role combines clinical dialysis expertise with launch execution and customer adoption responsibilities. You will support clinical study sites and early commercial accounts, while working closely with our Sales and Marketing teams to drive adoption of the aXess technology.
We are looking for someone with a genuine commercial mindset: a clinical professional who understands that clinical excellence and commercial success go hand in hand, and who enjoys turning strong science into strong adoption. You will be as comfortable supporting HCPs at the bedside as you are helping shape how we win in the market.
Clinical and site support
Support clinical study sites with patient enrolment, device use, treatment follow-up, and protocol adherence in the dialysis setting.
Provide hands-on support to physicians, nurses, and site staff during first clinical use.
Act as the primary field contact for dialysis centres once the aXess device is implanted and ready for haemodialysis.
Support cannulation planning, conduit monitoring and maintenance, and the timely escalation of findings.
Maintain accurate documentation in line with GCP and applicable procedures.
Training and education
Deliver in-person and remote training to HCPs, study sites and early commercial users
Contribute to training, education, and field-facing materials, under the direction of the Clinical Training and Education Manager.
Monitor training effectiveness and user readiness, and support refresher sessions.
Commercial collaboration
Work in close collaboration with Sales and Marketing to drive early account onboarding, first commercial use, and adoption.
Run practical site readiness assessments for early adopters.
Collect and channel structured field feedback to inform launch planning, marketing, and product decisions.
Represent Xeltis at scientific meetings and congresses, sharing approved clinical data and best practices.
Stakeholder engagement
Engage nephrologists, nurses, researchers, KOLs, and early-adopting centres to communicate the clinical value and appropriate use of the technology.
Support the development of centres of excellence and multidisciplinary engagement models
2 or more years of experience in dialysis care, clinical site support, clinical studies, or early medical device commercialisation.
A clear commercial mindset, and the confidence to partner closely with Sales and Marketing.
Experience with dialysis technologies or vascular access is an advantage.
Familiarity with GCP and relevant standards such as ISO 14155 is a plus.
Fluent English. German is a strong plus and highly desirable.
Willingness to travel extensively across Europe, more than 50 percent of the time.
A relevant bachelor's degree, or equivalent hands-on experience.
An independent, reliable, pragmatic, and goal-oriented working style.
Home-based, ideally in a German-speaking region: Süd-Tirol, Austria, or Germany.
Close to an international airport, given the extensive EU travel this role involves.
A pivotal role in the launch of a breakthrough technology that can change the lives of dialysis patients.
A high-autonomy, home-based setup with real ownership of your region.
A collaborative, mission-driven team where clinical and commercial work closely together.
A competitive package, in line with experience and location.
If you want to bring a breakthrough dialysis technology to the patients who need it, we would love to hear from you. Apply with your CV, and tell us in a few lines why this role fits you.
