Scrum Master
In your role as Scrum Master you will support multiple distributed software development teams. You will work together with your teams, the respective Product Owners and Product Manager, other Scrum Masters and the Release Train Engineer of the Agile Release Train (ART).
You will facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint retrospectives, sprint reviews, and work closely with a product owner to perform sprint planning and backlog refinement. The Scrum master must understand the priority set by the product owner, and execute the backlog as wished, making sure that deliverables are on time with production quality. The Scrum master requires commitment to building a strong collaborative environment with the team and the company.
We are looking for someone with a passion for Agile, loads of good energy and someone who will focus on change. You will work for a global solution in the Asset Management Delivery Team and have the responsibility of supporting multiple global Scrum teams.
Other major parts of the role are facilitating the Scrum events. This includes making sure the team is working smoothly and every team member has the tools to get their work done efficiently. Responsibilities:
Provide coaching and training at the program and team levels in an emerging Agile environment.
Support the Agile team in becoming self-organizing & self-managing team.
Help the product owner to organize the backlog.
Remove impediments / communicate with stakeholders.
Create high performing teams by driving continuous improvement.
Facilitate all Scrum events.
Participates in Agile Release Train(s) (ART), Agile team, Scrum of Scrums.
Assess the current organization and delivery environment and recommend optimal Agile practices tailored to the client.
Perform in various agile roles, including Scrum Master, where needed for one or multiple global teams.
Influence at all levels of an organization and help implement recommended changes.
Prepare and deliver effective communications both verbally and orally regarding progress and status.
Provide advisory on best practices and process hygiene, agile metrics collection establishment.
Create an environment that empowers and energizes team members, with a focus on accountability, adaptability, and collaboration.
Build relationships with other organizational Scrum masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.
Agile Coach Responsibilities:
Educate and support members / teams on SAFe Agile principles, processes, accountabilities, events, etc.
Embody and share the Agile principles.
Inspire and coach members / teams regarding personal / team development.
Provide members / teams with feedback and means of improvement on SAFe Agile practices.
Essentials & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Technical or Business subjects.
Professional Scrum Master certification and certified SAFe 5.0 or higher.
3-8 years’ Scrum Master experience in an international (global) organization.
Coaching and mentoring skills; Guides and trains new peers on specialized tasks; occasionally leads small project segments to improve team alignment and efficiency.
Experience with supporting a distributed team in the role of Scrum Master.
