The Cybersecurity & Compliance Officer will play a key role in deploying the Group’s Compliance and Cybersecurity strategy across the Northern Europe perimeter (Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden), while contributing to Group‑wide projects when required. The position will be located in The Netherlands, and can be executed either from our office location in Amersfoort or the production/office facilities in Hengelo. You report to the Audit & Compliance Project Manager located in France.
Your main responsibilities
- Ensure compliance within the scope of NIS2, GDPR, Anticorruption, Suppliers, etc.
- Update risk mappings, i.e. Risk matrix, Cybersecurity, Anticorruption, GDPR, Financial, SOD, etc.
- Train and guide employees on Compliance best practices and organize Compliance crisis management exercises;
- Conduct audits within the designated scope and geographical area;
- Ensure effective communication of the department to employees and stakeholders of the geographical subsidiaries;
- Produce KPI monitoring reports on cybersecurity, GDPR, etc.
- Monitor action plans and handle alerts;
- Participates in the crisis management team and crisis management exercises;
- Proactively propose improvements regarding local regulations and identified non-compliances;
Your profile
- You hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree in a relevant study;
- You have a solid understanding of business processes;
- You have initial experience in audit, cybersecurity and compliance;
- You have knowledge of cybersecurity and compliance frameworks, ideally NIS2, otherwise SOC 2 or ISO 27001;
- You demonstrate rigor, integrity, analytical skills and the ability to engage and mobilize local teams;
- You are fluent in English, French proficiency is a strong plus;
- Regular travel across Europe for audits, training sessions and seminars is required.
