What you bring
Experience as a Software Architect and/or Senior Full-stack Developer
Strong knowledge of Java (Spring Boot) and React
Experience designing scalable and maintainable software architectures
Knowledge of API design, event-driven development, design patterns, and integrations
Comfortable working with Git and CI/CD
Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
Nice to have
Experience or interest in Kubernetes, Golang, or IT security
Affinity with video or IoT systems
Open source contributions or a personal project you are proud of

What we offer
A one-year contract with the intention to extend to a permanent contract
A salary between €4,000 and €6,200 per month, depending on your experience
25 vacation days and 7 additional roster days

Hybrid working; we work at least 3 days per week from our office in Enschede (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)

Where you will work
You will be part of BauWatch Technology, the R&D and software development department of the BauWatch Group. This is where we build the technology behind our security solutions.
The department consists of approximately 50 engineers working in different teams, each with its own focus. Much of our work sits at the intersection of IoT, home automation, and smart technology.
The atmosphere is informal. We build serious software, but there is also room for humor and fun.
