Established in 1931, the BSN is one of the oldest not-for-profit international schools in the Netherlands. Reporting to the Director of Engagement and External Relations, you will own the day-to-day rhythm of our social media channels. You will balance planned strategic campaigns with the fast-paced, live energy of school life.
Own the Channels: Plan, create, and publish high-impact content across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Produce Multimedia: Craft compelling copy, eye-catching visuals, and short-form video that drives website traffic, admissions inquiries, and event sign-ups.
Innovate with Tech: Use AI, SEO, and advanced analytics responsibly to keep the BSN ahead of digital communication trends.
Collaborate and Connect: Travel between our campuses to hunt down and shape inspiring stories from students, teachers, and alumni.
Protect the Brand: Ensure all content aligns with our brand voice, GDPR, privacy laws, and strict safeguarding standards.
You are curious, proactive, and ready to bring fresh ideas to a supportive, expert marketing and admissions team.
Your Toolkit:
Experience: Proven track record in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
Creative Skills: Strong writing adaptability and confidence producing short-form mobile video.
Technical Savvy: Experience with scheduling and analytics tools. Familiarity with Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud is highly valued (Photoshop/InDesign is a huge plus).
Strategic Mindset: An understanding of how social media feeds into a larger ecosystem (websites, SEO, search/AI discovery, and the customer journey).
Power Skills: Excellent project management skills, adaptability, and the mature judgment required when handling student data and safeguarding.
> Sector experience in education or non-profits is a bonus, but not required. We value your digital expertise and drive above all.
Contract: The initial contract will be for one year.
Compensation: €3411,57 - €4251,42 gross per month, depending on experience + 9% holiday allowance.
