What we are doing
Our mission is to prevent vision loss and ultimately blindness by developing AI software that assists ophthalmologists in therapy planning for their patients. We use computer vision deep learning models (AI) trained on thousands of cases and millions of images to predict disease progression, individualize therapy and improve outcomes. The decision support algorithm targets widespread eye diseases like Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD, 7.5mio affected in Germany alone).
Your Responsibilities:
- Partnering with the field sales representatives of our distribution partners to identify customer needs, support the sales process, and ensure the successful implementation of our AI solution.
- Identifying improvements during clinical observerships in the intravitreal injection (IVT) process and training our customers on how to derive the maximum value from our AI assistant.
- Attending regional and national conferences to present and explain our solution to potential customers.
- Providing feedback and new feature requests to our product management team.
You're doing a great job when:
- You know our customers' IVT process and IT setup better than they do themselves sometimes.
- Our initial implementation time drops from 2–12 weeks down to just a few days.
- We are live at 99.9% of our customer sites, including the latest updates.
- Our customers would never dream of switching to another tool because they continuously derive more value from our AI—thanks to your active hands-on support, both remote and on-site.
Your Must-Haves
- Fluent service-oriented communication with various customer groups, such as physicians, physician or medical assistants, and technicians or practice IT staff.
- Tech-savvyness, meaning you aren't afraid to troubleshoot potential PC issues and loop in our internal IT team for more complex problems.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and remotely within a dynamic team environment.
- Clinical work experience, ideally in ophthalmology/optometry
- Languages German, Dutch & ideally English
Your Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in sales, customer or IT support, customer success, etc.
- Hands-on experience with medical imaging systems, ideally OCT, imaging software (PACS), and Practice Management / Hospital Information Systems (EHR)
- First experience in startups and/or AI and/or SaaS companies
- Additional languages French
What we offer
- Startup culture & a great, international team
- High personal responsibility for your region & fast personal growth
- Flexible working hours, remote work & office in Maastricht or Venlo
- Direct impact on improving quality of life for our users (doctors, ultimately also patients)
