For our Retail & Consumer Services Unit we are looking for a System Analyst with a proven background as SME, Team Lead Support, Support Specialist or System Analyst.
Your role in our team
As a System Analyst, you will be part of the Global IT Store System team for a large retail client, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth integration, testing, and support of store systems. This role involves analyzing complex application integrations, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance.
You will:
- Conduct integration testing and validate system functionalities.
- Review and improve technical documentation for system processes.
- Manage incident resolution at the 3rd Level Support (OSP), ensuring timely problem-solving.
- Proactively test system functionalities and contribute to system adoption.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
How you strengthen our team
We are looking for a highly analytical and proactive System Analyst with a strong technical background. You will:
- Analyze and troubleshoot system issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Work collaboratively to resolve bugs and coordinate fixes.
- Maintain clear and structured communication with colleagues and stakeholders. From a systematic point of view, not a business or structural perspective.
- Support the deployment and adoption process of new store system technologies.
- Ensure compliance with best practices in system documentation and testing.
Desired Tech Tools Experience
In this role, you will work with a mix of testing, integration, and system analysis tools, including:
Testing & Issue Management:
- Test Rail – Creating test cases based on user requirements, executing test runs, and reporting results.
- PostMan – API execution and testing.
- JIRA & Confluence – Managing project workflows, documentation, and collaboration.
Database & Development Tools:
- DaoCloud – Experience in cloud-based system management.
- BPMN (Business Process Model & Notation) – Understanding business workflows for system improvements.
Who are we looking for
Our ideal candidate:
✔Has 5+ years of experience in incident management and troubleshooting issues efficiently
✔Has experience with API testing and a thorough API call understanding, including knowledge of tools required
✔System workflow analysis experience is a must
✔Proven experience evaluating business systems and their fit within businesses their architecture
✔Understands complex application integrations and their impact on varying systems.
✔Strategic hands-on partner. You enjoy and accel at building and debugging syncs and are very fond of long-term architecture and scalability.
✔Good communication in Dutch & English
✔Located in the Netherlands
✔Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
