As Steward you will responsible for the following duties:
- Washing all hotel china, silverware, glassware, service ware, and cookware;
- Cleanliness of all food service serving pieces and related cookware and tools;
- Maintaining the cleanliness of culinary equipment and areas;
- Sorting of food and beverage waste into proper streams for disposal and recycling;
- Transporting dishes, glasses, silverware, and serving pieces throughout the hotel as instructed;
- Knowledge of proper food safety and sanitation rules and guidelines.
As Steward, we expect from you:
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar position, hotel experience strongly preferred;
- Spoken and reading proficiency in the English language;
- Able to walk and stand for entirety of shift;
- Able to regularly lift, push, and pull heavy weights;
- Flexible scheduling availability to include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
