Waarom BagelBoy?
BagelBoy is een snelgroeiend Amsterdams branded food concept gebouwd rond verse zuurdesem bagels. Begonnen in 2024 op de Albert Cuyp, en inmiddels vier locaties in Amsterdam en een op Bali en een eigen bakkerij in hartje centrum. Om verdere groei te borgen met strakke een strakke operatie én een topservice zoeken we een Operations Manager die met ons mee wil groeien.
Operations Manager — Amsterdam
We zoeken een Operations Manager die de dagelijkse operatie strak houdt én actief meewerkt aan het stroomlijnen van processen, bewaken van marges en openen van nieuwe locaties.
De rol
Je werkt direct samen met de oprichters en hebt veel ruimte voor eigen initiatief. Je leidt een team van shiftleads en locatiemanagers, bent mede verantwoordelijk voor onze bakkerij en speelt een actieve rol bij de uitrol van nieuwe locaties — in Nederland, Bali of daarbuiten.
Wat ga je doen?
- Alle locaties laten presteren op kwaliteit, service en hygiëne via strakke processen en SOP's
- Inkoopkosten doorlichten, verbeterpunten identificeren en implementeren samen met je team
- Shiftleads en locatiemanagers begeleiden en ontwikkelen
- De uitstraling en merkbeleving van BagelBoy bewaken op alle locaties
- Meedenken en -bouwen aan nieuwe locaties, van operationele inrichting tot teamopbouw
- Knelpunten in de operatie snel signaleren en oplossen — op de vloer én in de cijfers
Wie zoeken wij?
- Aantoonbare operationele (management)ervaring in hospitality, food of retail — vereist
- Analytisch, hands-on en van nature proactief
- Thuis in applicaties, extreem goed op de vloer
- Denkt in systemen, goed met mensen
- Woont in of rondom Amsterdam

Operations Manager — Amsterdam
We're looking for an Operations Manager who keeps daily operations tight while actively streamlining processes, protecting margins, and helping open new locations.
The role
You work directly with the founders with plenty of room for your own initiative. You lead a team of shift leads and location managers, share responsibility for our bakery, and play an active role in launching new locations — in the Netherlands, Bali, or beyond.
What will you do?
- Keep all locations performing at BagelBoy's standard through sharp processes and SOPs
- Audit purchasing costs, identify opportunities, and implement improvements with your team
- Guide and develop shift leads and location managers
- Protect the brand experience and presentation across all locations
- Help build new locations from the ground up — operationally and team-wise
- Quickly identify and resolve operational bottlenecks — on the floor and in the numbers
Who are we looking for?
- Demonstrable operational (management) experience in hospitality, food, or retail — required
- Analytical, hands-on, and naturally proactive
- Equally at home in Excel and on the floor
- Thinks in systems, but never loses sight of the people
- Based in or around Amsterdam
