As part of our continued European growth, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to expand our presence throughout the BeNeLux region.
Your Role
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while strengthening long-term customer relationships throughout the Netherlands and neighbouring BeNeLux markets.
You understand industrial customers, identify technical challenges and translate them into commercial rental solutions that create value for our clients. Curiosity and aptitude for grasping basic chemical or engineering concepts, enabling you to engage confidently with more complex customer inquiries
Working closely with our Operations, Engineering and Customer Support teams, you will develop sustainable customer partnerships and contribute directly to the continued growth of Rain for Rent International.
Your Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new customers across the BeNeLux region
- Develop long-term relationships with industrial key accounts
- Generate and qualify new sales opportunities through networking, market research and customer visits
- Prepare technical and commercial quotations
- Manage the complete sales cycle from initial contact through contract negotiation and project handover
- Collaborate closely with Operations to ensure successful project execution
- Develop account strategies for strategic customers
- Monitor market trends, competitors and customer requirements
- Maintain accurate sales activities within the CRM system
- Represent Rain for Rent at customer events, exhibitions and industry meetings
- Deliver sales targets and contribute to the European commercial strategy
Your Profile
You are an ambitious sales professional who enjoys developing new markets and building trusted customer relationships.
You combine commercial drive with technical curiosity and understand how industrial customers make investment and rental decisions.
You bring
- Several years of experience in Business Development, Technical Sales or Solution Sales
- Experience within industrial equipment rental, pumps, tanks, filtration, process equipment, environmental services or related industries
- Strong commercial negotiation skills
- Experience managing complex B2B sales processes
- Ability to understand technical customer requirements
- Self-driven and entrepreneurial working style
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the BeNeLux region
- Valid driving licence
