OUR COMPANY
Amforça is a dynamic company specializing in sports camps and after-school (BSO) activities for kids from international schools (ages between 4 – 13). We pride ourselves on our professionalism, inclusivity, reliability and high-quality services in sports, health, and prevention.
During school weeks, we work from 14:30 to 17:15 and on Wednesdays from 12:15 to 15:00. You will work at our locations at Laan van Poot 22 and Laan van Poot 38C in The Hague. Working at other Amforça locations in The Hague may also be required.

WHAT IS THE ROLE?
In the position of Boxing Coach, you follow the daily schedule and tasks under the supervision of General and Assistant Manager. You ensure the good progress of your sports activities within Amforça – Sports. You help to plan and structure the Basketball lessons and are able to execute them on your own.
You cooperate with coordinator(s)/head coaches and other fellow Coaches and create an enthusiastic atmosphere to make the children (and parents) feel welcome every day.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Safely pick up children from school, check attendance, and escort them to the sports location.
- Set up and clean-up activities, maintain equipment, and ensure a safe environment.
- Inspire and motivate children to participate in lessons, serving as a positive role model.
- Foster a positive mindset and team spirit, ensuring excellent communication within your team.
- Planning sports lessons in advance and take charge of the lesson if necessary.
- Support the organization of special events and activities within your sport/activity.
- Monitor children's progress, celebrate their achievements, evaluate lessons together, and communicate updates to parents.
- Quickly report any issues regarding children to the coordinator, head coach, and assistant manager to ensure their well-being.
- You support any junior coaches (assistant coaches) in your team.
- You are responsible for the branch/ location, telephone and tablet.
WHAT WE OFFER?

- At present, our requirement is limited to 07 hours. Competitive industry salary starting at 16€ per hour (depending on experience).

YOUR PROFILE
- You are open-minded, communicative, pro-active, reliable and an inclusive team player.
- You can provide us with a valid VOG certificate (expenses are covered by us)
- You have good communication skills in English (good Dutch skills or other language skills are a plus).
- You are available to work 3 hours per week (during school weeks)
- You are in the last year of or have already obtained a sports degree or certification in sport coaching, PE teaching, Sport and exercise MBO 3-4 or a related field. A basketball certification is desired.
- A minimum of 6 months of experience in working with children or with children's sports lessons and an ability to respond to children's needs.
- You have very good practical experience in the sports you teach. Theoretical experience and/or education is considered an asset.
- You live in the area of The Hague and are permitted to work in the Netherlands.
