Part-time, 40% · Senior School Leidschenveen
We are looking for a part-time School Counsellor (40% FTE, 2 days per week – Tuesday and Wednesday) maternity cover (22/09/2026 – 12/05 2027) to provide a professional, confidential counselling service to pupils in Years 7 to 13 (age 11-18). You will also provide staff with advice and support to help them respond to the emotional and pastoral needs of pupils in their care.

The successful candidate will be a qualified counsellor with solid post-qualification experience as a practising therapist, psychiatrist or counsellor with adolescents. You will have exceptional skills in building effective relationships with pupils, parents and staff, and a thorough understanding of the issues and problems relevant to young people today.
We are looking for a person who will support BSN students at the Senior School Leidschenveen (SSL) campus and contribute to the wellbeing of our international student body. Awareness and experience working with international, mobile students would be an advantage. You will be part of the campus’ Wellbeing Team working alongside the School Health Officer, the pastoral Senior Leader and the Heads of Year.
The salary range for this position is 3411,56- 4251,43 gross EUR monthly (full-time), depending on experience. All figures shown are including the 9% holiday allowance.
