Tiro Partners are hiring for an emerging start-up, operating in the Data Privacy space which is looking to add an experience Java Developer to their team. We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join their dynamic team and contribute to the team development and contribute to the growth of the business. We are looking for a professional with prior experience working in a start-up or that would enjoy this sort of business.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance and scalable Java applications.
- You collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- You can write clean and efficient code, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards and you have experience running code and test reviews.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- You can collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.
- Stay updated with the latest Java technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
- Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to delivery.
Requirements:
- You bring proven experience as a Java Developer with a strong background of Java programming language.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Experience with frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
- Proficient in database management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
- Having familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their integration with Java applications will be advantageous for this position.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Nice to have:
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
