As a System Engineer at TMC, you work on complex civil and infrastructural projects within the spatial domain, such as infrastructure, energy transition, mobility, water safety, and area development. These projects involve technical complexity, contractual requirements, and various stakeholders, where Systems Engineering is utilized to maintain control over scope, quality, risks, and interfaces. You are responsible for establishing, applying, and ensuring Systems Engineering within one or more project phases: from planning studies and design to implementation and delivery. You assist project teams in structuring requirements, defining system boundaries, managing interfaces, and organizing verification and validation. Within projects, you act as a connecting link between the client, project management, design teams, technical disciplines, contract management, and execution. You ensure that requirements are clear, traceable, and manageable, and that changes and deviations are identified and discussed in a timely manner. This helps contribute to predictable project outcomes and well-founded decision-making. Our assignments are diverse and vary in scale and complexity. These include (local) governments, water authorities, contractors, grid operators, and engineering and consultancy firms.
