Today we operate two locations. Tomorrow there may be more. We're looking for someone who wants to help build that future with us. Your mission
Take ownership of the beverage experience across all Salvo’s locations. From the coffee we serve every morning to the seasonal drinks we launch throughout the year, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our beverage program remains consistent, exciting, and commercially successful.
What you'll be doing
Setting the standard
You'll define and maintain the standards that make our drinks special:
- Coffee recipes and dial-ins
- Beverage preparation procedures
- Cup sizes and presentation
- Quality control across locations
- Bar workflow and efficiency
- Growing and supporting the team
You'll help build a team of confident and knowledgeable baristas by:
- Training new hires
- Coaching existing team members
- Sharing knowledge and best practices
- Creating a positive coffee culture within the company
- Developing the beverage program
You'll continuously look for ways to make our drinks offering better:
- Creating seasonal drinks and specials
- Exploring new coffee offerings
- Developing matcha, chai and non-coffee beverages
- Testing ideas and gathering feedback
- Finding the balance between creativity, operations, and profitability
- Building partnerships
You'll be the main point of contact for our beverage suppliers and partners:
- Managing weekly ordering
- Maintaining supplier relationships
- Exploring new products and collaborations
- Staying connected to what's happening in the coffee world

How the role is structured
We imagine this role as a combination of floor presence and leadership work:
- Around 4 days per week working alongside the team on the floor
- Half to one day per week dedicated to ordering, training, menu development,
- supplier meetings, research and projects
- Availability to work at least one weekend day every week is required
