De Functie
Leli Holland is op zoek naar een betrouwbare en detailgerichte Sanitation Worker die ervoor zorgt dat schoonmaakwerkzaamheden worden uitgevoerd volgens de bedrijfsstandaarden en in overeenstemming met vereisten zoals GPP en GMP, en die de hygiëne- en schoonmaakstandaarden binnen onze faciliteit bewaakt. De ideale kandidaat is trots op het creëren van een schone, veilige en gastvrije omgeving voor medewerkers en bezoekers.
De rol werkt samen met belangrijke stakeholders om program compliance, consistente kwaliteit, sanitation, afvalbeheer en algemene netheid binnen de faciliteit te waarborgen. De Sanitation Worker doet aanbevelingen aan het hogere management om sanitation-praktijken te verbeteren en zorgt dat richtlijnen rondom GMP, kwaliteit, veiligheid en voedselveiligheid worden nageleefd. Deze rol vraagt om een sterke werkethiek, het vermogen om veiligheids- en sanitation-protocollen te volgen en een duidelijke commitment aan hoge schoonmaakstandaarden.
Reinigen van vloeren, oppervlakken, toiletten, pauzeruimtes en werkplekken, en het correct gebruiken en hanteren van schoonmaakapparatuur en schoonmaakchemicaliën.

Timesheets, checklists en weekplanning wekelijks printen.

Checklists opstellen voor nieuwe processen.

SOP’s schrijven en valideren.

Projecten uitvoeren gericht op process improvement, data-analyse en teamefficiëntie.

Walkthrough, interview en orientation voor nieuwe medewerkers organiseren (één tot twee keer per week).

Wekelijkse planning opstellen voor het team.

Timesheets wekelijks ondertekenen en opvolgen/tracken.

Sanitation supplies bestellen (zoals chemicaliën en schoonmaaktools) tweewekelijks en maandelijks.

Ruimtes inspecteren tijdens en na het schoonmaken.

Afstemmen met andere afdelingen om schoonmaak in de juiste ruimtes uit te voeren.

Maandelijkse schoonmaakprojecten plannen voor de faciliteit (bijv. MSS – Master Sanitation Schedule).

Continu werken aan verbeteringen in processen en labor management.
Persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen (PPE) kunnen vereist zijn bij werkzaamheden die mogelijk risico’s vormen voor gezondheid of veiligheid. Het bedrijf stelt de benodigde PPE beschikbaar. Medewerkers krijgen training over correct gebruik en onderhoud van toegewezen PPE. Het is jouw verantwoordelijkheid om defecte, beschadigde of verloren PPE te melden, evenals apparatuur die niet goed past, aan je Supervisor.
De medewerker moet beschikken over de volgende kennis, vaardigheden en competenties en kunnen uitleggen en aantonen dat hij/zij de essentiële functies kan uitvoeren, met of zonder redelijke aanpassingen:
Gedegen kennis van sanitation-regelgeving en best practices.
Diepgaande kennis van sanitation-principes, -praktijken en -regelgeving die van toepassing zijn op cannabisproductie, inclusief GMP, HACCP en andere relevante standaarden (pré).

3+ jaar ervaring in een sanitation- of schoonmaakrol is vereist.

Ervaring in manufacturing, productie, food processing, hospitality, healthcare of een andere fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.

Eerdere ervaring in sanitation management of een vergelijkbare rol, bij voorkeur in een gereguleerde industrie zoals food manufacturing, farmacie of cannabisproductie.

The Opportunity
Leli Holland is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to ensure that cleaning is carried out according to company standards and in compliance with requirements such as GPP and GMP, and to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across our facility. The ideal candidate takes pride in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.The role works with key stakeholders to ensure program compliance, consistent quality, sanitation, waste management and general cleanliness within the facility. The Sanitation Worker recommends improvements to sanitation practices to higher management and ensures that the guidelines related to GMP, quality, safety, food safety are followed. This role requires a strong work ethic, the ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
What You'll Do
Sanitation
cleaning floors, surfaces, restrooms, break areas, and workspaces, as well as properly handling cleaning equipment and chemicals.
Documentation
- Fill and verify the daily checklist/ forms through Elevated Signals
- Print Timesheets, Checklists and schedule on Weekly basis
- Create checklists for new processes
- Write and validate SOPs
- Projects involves Process Improvement, Data analysis and Team efficiency
Administration
- Arrange Walkthrough, Interview and Orientation for New hires (once or twice a week)
- Make weekly schedule for team
- Sign and track time sheets on a weekly basis
- Order Sanitation Supplies such as chemicals and cleaning tools biweekly and monthly
- Inspect the rooms during and after cleaning
- Communicate with other departments to get the cleaning done in respective areas
- Schedule monthly cleaning project for the facility (e.g., MSS - Master Sanitation Schedule)
- Continuously work on improvement on all processes and labor management
Safety Requirements
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required when performing work duties that may have the potential of risk to your health or safety. The Company will provide the required PPE. Employees will be trained in the proper use and care of any assigned PPE. It is your responsibility to report defective, damaged or lost PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly to your Supervisor.
Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Robust knowledge of sanitation regulations and best practices.
In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, practices, and regulations applicable to cannabis production, including GMP, HACCP, and other relevant standards is a preferred skill.
What You Bring
Education:

Diploma in Business or a related field and certifications.
Experience
-
3+ years of experience in sanitation role is required or cleaning role.

Experience in manufacturing, production, food processing, hospitality, healthcare, or other fast-moving consumer goods industry.

Previous experience in sanitation management or a related role, preferably in a regulated industry such as food manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, or cannabis production.
