We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Netherlands-based team. In this role, you will act as a bridge between business needs and technology, helping stakeholders turn their challenges and ideas into clear, valuable solutions.
You will work closely with diverse teams and stakeholders, using your analytical skills and business understanding to identify opportunities, improve processes, and contribute to impactful projects. - Explore business processes, systems, and user needs in a rapidly evolving technological environment.
- Understand and document requirements, define project scope, and help shape solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Translate customer requirements into clear user stories and high-quality software designs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation and provide actionable recommendations.
- Create workflow diagrams and analyze system capabilities to translate business needs into clear specifications.
- Manage and prioritize requirements backlogs, working collaboratively with stakeholders to refine and clarify needs.
- Analyze existing practices and propose appropriate system modifications.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment, sharing ideas and supporting colleagues in achieving common goals.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in fields like Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Management.
- Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience in business analysis or a similar role.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Confidence to engage with and constructively challenge business process owners.
- Proven experience managing stakeholder expectations and facilitating cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
- Certifications such as IREB, BCS, BABOK, BISL, or ISQI.
- Familiarity with BPM, UML, Workflow Diagrams, and TOGAF frameworks.
- Knowledge of APIs, integration tools, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Dutch and English, with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Experience across industries such as Public, Financial Services, or Manufacturing is an advantage.
