As Transport Management Specialist you are in daily contact with 1 or more of our international customers and many carriers. Your focus here will be to unburden by coordinating daily transportation shipments, picking up and handling escalations, and answering and resolving specific questions from shippers and carriers. Every day and every shipment you look at how things can be done better and better, more and more sustainable, more and more optimal. In this you are a real team player.

Discover a day at IDS
Together with the team, you determine priorities and ensure that questions are picked up and answered correctly and completely at once. You arrange urgent orders with your team down to the last detail, just like making sure documentation is in order and available to the right people in the chain. That’s emailing and calling, proactively thinking and thinking along. You also make sure that everything is properly recorded in our systems, so that invoice control and performance management are possible. Periodically you make performance reports for the customers and the carriers, or you are busy with analyses and rate management is a task. Finding the solution together, that’s what it’s all about.
So you will be a real specialist and sparring partner for our customers and the carriers.
Depending on your interests and ambitions, you can also take on tasks in the area of quality or carrier management. And otherwise for example application management. Where you will do that? At our beautiful office in De Meern. Accessible by bus and excellent free parking on our own grounds.
