Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Working Student for 8-24 hours per week to support the development of Oceanco's Circular Marketplace initiative.
Across our locations, there are materials, equipment, merchandise and unique items that deserve a second life. Some of these items originate from our yachts and refit projects and hold hidden value for employees and potentially the wider community.
In this role, you will help identify, photograph, catalogue and organize these items, creating the foundation for a future internal marketplace. As the project is still in its early stages, you will also have the opportunity to contribute with ideas and help shape this new initiative.
Main scope
Inventory and registration of materials, equipment and other reusable items across Oceanco locations.
Main stakeholders
Sustainability, Facility, HR, IT.
Main activities

Visit Oceanco offices, yards and warehouses to identify reusable items
- Photograph and catalogue materials, equipment, merchandise and other assets
- Record item information in a structured database
- Classify and organize items into relevant categories
- Identify opportunities for reuse and internal redistribution
- Engage with colleagues across different departments to locate and collect information about available items
- Support the development of an internal Circular Marketplace initiative
- Help uncover hidden value across the organization
What do we ask for?

Genuine interest in Sustainability and Circularity
- Good command of English; Dutch speaking is preferred

Currently enrolled in an HBO or WO programme in the Netherlands. Relevant fields may include Business Administration, Sustainability, Supply Chain, Logistics, Facility Management, Data Management or similar

Comfortable working with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Experience with databases, inventory systems or data management is a plus
