+ Job Summary
The Repair Technician will perform service activities to include configuration, evaluation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of hand carried ultrasound equipment and accessories. As the Repair Technician, you will perform final functional testing to ensure product quality and reliability meet the highest standards. Identify the root cause of equipment malfunctions or system failures using diagnostic tools and technical expertise. As the Repair technician, you will cross train in operational processes to sustain departmental objectives. Our repair lab consists of 3 repair technicians.You will also act as the back-up for our warehouse (2-4 days per month, approx.)
+ Essential Job Functions
- Identify the root cause of equipment malfunctions or system failures using diagnostic tools and technical expertise.
- Perform rework and repair with strict adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Install and configure component software
- Perform final functional testing to ensure product quality and reliability meet the highest standards
- Perform inventory transactions and ensure inventory accuracy
- Responsible and accountable for carrying out the requirements of the company's quality system
- Cross train in operational processes to sustain departmental objectives
- Ensures a safe, clean and organized work environment (5S)
- Shipping product to customers, including picking the orders, packaging, recording serial number information, using the shipping systems, filling out waybills, and ship confirming
- Disinfection of medical equipment
- Assist from time to time with Technical customer support inquiries (via email)
- Assist in planning and giving technical training to colleagues and/or customers.
- Participate in our quarterly inventory count alongside the warehouse specialist.
+ Minimum requirements
- Must have a minimum of 1 year experience within a repair environment; preferably in the repair and preventative maintenance of electrical or electro/mechanical devices
- Oracle or similar business system experience and skill are desired
- Excellent English skills
- Problem solving mindset with a strong attention to details.
+ What we offer
This is a permanent position, starting with a 7 months contract. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, daytime. Working 5 days per week in our international office (more than 10 different nationalities) and warehouse in Amsterdam Duivendrecht (easy access near A2, free parking). Friendly and casual work environment. Salary starting at 41K gross per year, incl holiday allowance (3160 EUR per month) . 27 days of vacations per year.
