At Hemera Textiles in Hem, we work with vintage clothing every day. We sort, wash, repair, upcycle, pack and deliver clothing to our stores. In addition, we design and produce new items from used materials. It’s a dynamic production environment where no day is the same.
At the moment, we have vacancies in two departments: the Tagroom and the Laundry.
TAGROOM
In the Tagroom, you make sure that clothing is fully prepared for sale in our stores. This is a precise and active role where you work a lot with your hands.
Your tasks:
- Sorting and checking garments
- Attaching price tags and security alarms
- Preparing clothing for shipment to stores
- Packing and preparing orders
- Ensuring items meet quality standards
Working hours:
For the Tagroom, we are looking for two employees for the shifts from 07:00 to 16:00 and from 08:00 to 17:00.
LAUNDRY
In the laundry, you are responsible for cleaning and processing incoming clothing. This is a physically demanding role where you ensure all items are clean and ready for further processing.
Your tasks:
- Washing, drying, mangling and pressing clothing
- Checking garments for quality after washing
- Preparing clean items for the Tagroom or shipment
- Supporting the full washing and processing workflow
- Ensuring an efficient and tidy work process
Working hours (flexible):
For the laundry, we are looking for someone who is flexibly available. Working hours vary per day; one day you work from 07:00 to 16:00 and the other day from 08:00 to 17:00, depending on the schedule.
