Supply Chain Specialist (Warehouse)
About the Role:
Join Harman Lifestyle Consumer Audio EMEA as a Logistics specialist and become an integral part of our regional supply chain team! Reporting directly to the Logistics Manager, you'll be the first point of contact for all satellite warehouse daily operations, responsible for stock control related to these hubs, and be the link between departments as Freight In, Warehousing, Sales Support, Finance and Legal to ensure that any operational issues/initiatives are resolved. The Supply Chain Specialist – Warehouse will also handle Projects within his area of responsibilities.

Your Team:
In this role, you will report to the Logistics Manager on warehousing within the Operations department. You will work closely with the Logistics Manager for transportation, and stock controller.
What You Will Do:
Warehousing & Distribution

Coordinate and monitor in- and outbound flow & distribution flow for the satellite warehouses (UK hub and personalization hub NL)

Proactively optimize the supply chain from order to delivery and identify key capabilities to be developed and process and cost improvement opportunities in our operations.

Provide Performance Dashboard and reporting to management (KPI, cost, projects status…).

Manage satellite warehouse inventory (wall-to-wall counts, cycle counts, scrapping, utilization)

Prepare forecasting for the satellite hubs

Ensure processes, procedures, tools are compliant, practical and optimized to fulfil business and regulatory requirements.

Creating processes and work instructions for internal use by other departments

Stay up to date with all relative duties, tariffs, VAT, and customs requirements for your region’s activities.
Project Management

Lead and execute assigned projects

Monitor departmental projects
- Develop and maintain reports for logistics department

Initiate and implement improvement supply chain projects
What You Need:
-
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management or similar.
-
At least 5 years’ relevant work experience in a multidisciplined Logistics role, of which at least 2-3 years of managing operations combined with business knowledge.

Project management skills. Has experience in large project implementation linked to warehouse operations, and logistics in general.

Able to develop and execute changes and initiatives on tactical level to achieve regional objectives.

Strong analytic skills, presenting data as compelling information with high level of attention to details and accuracy of data.

Experience in dealing with complex matters and projects.

Independent worker with strong planning and organizing skills.

Experience with MS office suite, especially excel

Experience with SAP is highly preferable

Fluent in English

Resistant to stress

- Be willing to travel up to 40%, domestically and within Europe.
