The Innovations Department is focused on developing innovative new solutions and processes that allow Allseas to stay ahead of the game. The E&I Unit is currently involved in the development of new equipment for Allseas’ subsea activities, the transition towards nuclear propulsion, the design of three new vessels, and the preparation of our offshore production equipment for a new era of industrial automation.
Across these projects, E&I Engineers analyse both power and automation requirements and are responsible for designing and implementing suitable hardware solutions. They ensure that all sub-systems are properly specified, designed, and built, and that these integrate seamlessly into one overall system. In addition, E&I Engineers play an active role during installation and commissioning, which may involve visits to our vessels worldwide.
As an experienced E&I Engineer, you will likely act as the E&I focal point for one or more projects. In this role, you will gather and translate both technical and non-technical requirements into clear work packages for internal E&I engineers, designers, and draftsmen, or for external contractors.
