Mission
Lead the incubation and growth of new TEM solutions for semiconductor manufacturing metrology and analytics use cases
Charter
Serve as the single accountable leader for new TEM solutions, defining the vision, roadmap, and execution strategy required to establish a scalable new business for Thermo Fisher.
Operating as the general manager of an emerging business initiative within the Semiconductor R&D organization, this role will partner closely with Marketing and Commercial leadership to identify customer opportunities, define differentiated solutions, and drive cross-functional execution across R&D, Operations, and Service.
Key Responsibilities

Define and champion the new TEM solution vision, strategy, and roadmap.

Identify and validate high-value semiconductor manufacturing opportunities.

Lead development of integrated hardware, software, analytics, and automation solutions.

Direct program execution through a team of program managers and systems engineers.

Align R&D, Operations, Service, Marketing, and Commercial teams around common objectives.

Build strategic customer relationships and translate market needs into development priorities.

Drive the transition from product concept to customer adoption and business growth.
Success
Success will be measured by customer adoption of new TEM solutions, the creation of a scalable growth business for Thermo Fisher, and recognition as a leader in semiconductor TEM metrology and analytics.
Who do we look for:
This position is ideal for a senior manager or director who has managed an engineering organization to successfully develop and launch complex high technology products.

Engineering or Science degree. PhD/MBA or other advanced degree is preferred

15 year’s work experience in complex technology product development

10 years management experience in complex technology product development

Proven ability to interact effectively with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams to achieve significant business objectives.

Proven personnel leadership and employee development

Sophistication in data driven decision making

Excellent written and spoken communication with team members (i.e., subordinates), peers and senior management

Must have ability to obtain a valid passport and travel internationally if needed

Proficient in English (Czech or Dutch language is an advantage)
