Your role
As part of our Front Office team at The Albus, you play a key role in delivering “a sense of bliss” to every guest. You ensure each visitor feels personally welcomed and enjoys a truly memorable stay in Amsterdam.
You are the face of the hotel and the main point of contact for our guests. From the moment they arrive, you create a warm, professional, and unforgettable experience.
Your responsibilities include:
- Welcoming guests and providing them with personalized recommendations about the city of Amsterdam
- Acting as the central contact point for all guest inquiries
- Taking care of VIP guests and coordinating their programs
- Handling administrative tasks such as processing payments, managing reservations, and responding to guest requests via email
- Supporting reservation duties in the absence of the Reservations department
What we are looking for:
- A completed MBO or HBO degree in Hospitality
- Experience within a Front Office team in a 4 or 5-star hotel
- Familiarity with Fidelio OPERA (Cloud) or a similar PMS system
- Fluency in both Dutch and English (a second foreign language is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of Amsterdam
- Excellent communication skills
- A flexible mindset and willingness to work rotating shifts
- Living in or near the Amsterdam area
