E-Commerce Key Account Manager Benelux (Amazon)
Consumer Products Division
Location: Hoofddorp, Netherlands
(Scope covers Benelux)
Hello, we’re L’Oréal. We're not just building brands, we're shaping how the world experiences beauty (and it takes a lot of cool jobs to do it). Intrigued? Keep reading, this might be the opportunity you've been searching for.
A Day in the Life
As our E-Commerce Key Account Manager, you will be part of a dynamic e-commerce team responsible for driving our pure player business across the Benelux, for example Amazon, Bol, and TikTok Shop. In this role, Amazon will take up the largest part of your time but you will also focus on expanding our existing business with e.g. Picnic. This role goes beyond day-to-day management: you will establish a solid, multi-year strategic framework to guide our long-term growth. It’s key account management with true activation power.
You drive joint business planning, think strategically about retail media and consumer activation, and act entrepreneurially to fuel sustainable growth for iconic mass-market brands like Maybelline, L'Oréal Paris, and Garnier. Because you will navigate abroad, strong cross-border stakeholder management and resilience are key to success.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Strategic Growth: Design and execute the annual commercial and activation plan for e.g. Amazon to maximize retail sales and market share.
- Negotiation & Joint Business Plans: Lead yearly commercial negotiations, aligning our brand goals with partner strategies.
- (International) Stakeholder Management: Navigate matrix structures, aligning local Benelux goals with European ZONE guidelines and international partner contacts.
- Data-Driven Performance: Analyze sales parameters, forecasting, and consumer journey touchpoints to optimize inventory and digital shelf visibility.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance to ensure operational and commercial excellence.
We Are Looking For
You are a resilient, entrepreneurial, and result-oriented professional ("growth, growth, growth!") who thrives in fast-paced, complex environments and knows how to get things done despite internal hurdles.
- E-Commerce & Platform Experience: Solid understanding of e-commerce mechanics, with hands-on experience with the Amazon platform being a strong plus.
- Commercial & Account Management Track Record: Proven ability to build sustainable customer relationships, manage complex negotiations, and drive retail media/activation power.
- International Stakeholder Savvy: Exceptional communication skills to navigate transversal and international stakeholders. Fluency in Dutch and English is a must.
- Mass Market Affinity: Passion for or affinity with the FMCG / mass-market beauty landscape.
- Working & Thinking Level: Relevant working and thinking level (Bachelor/Master equivalent through education or practical experience)
What’s In It For You
- A place for you to leave your comfort zone and grow beyond your potential (here, you’ll be encouraged to try new things and take risks!).
- Real responsibility from day 1 — there’s no sitting on the sidelines at L’Oréal.
- An international, inclusive environment where people of every background are accepted, can speak up, and are celebrated.
- A chance to work with world-leading brands and contribute to something bigger.
