Role Overview
The Supply Chain Controller – Distribution EMEA reporting directly to the Global Supply Chain Controller Distribution. This role oversees financial operations within the Supply Chain Execution and Distribution Centers in the EU and AP region and is a single contributor role. The Supply Chain Controller collaborates closely with senior managers to establish and achieve financial goals, enhance reporting accuracy, and drive organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Performance & Profitability
Own and analyse Contribution Margin performance for supply chain activities, delivering insights and improvement actions.
Translate regional supply chain (non)-financial KPI’s into financial outcomes for supply and project performance;.
Convert the regional cost of organization analysis in actions together with the business leaders.
Analyse deviations between actuals and pre-calculated cost on total cost of equipment and define actions for optimization.
2. Planning, Forecasting & Reporting
Prepare and present regional reporting cycles, actuals, FY Forecast, annual budget.
Analyse the total cost of equipment for the regional projects in respect of timing and cost versus budget;
Act as finance lead for Regional Supply Reviews flows for EMEA and APAC for VI both Distribution, other Domains in VI and TAL.
Responsible for reporting the set KPI’s and charging of cost for the Supply Chain in EMEA and APAC for VI that utilize this supply chain network.
Manage Working Capital on regional level, with concentration on inventory levels, provisions, phasing, and optimization.
3. Risk, Opportunity & Compliance
4. Strategic supply Initiatives, programs and way of working
Support to strategic programs for supply chain improvements.
Share input to the global supply chain controller in respect of way of working and improvement areas to optimize end-to-end.
Prepare regional business cases for investments and long-term leases in the supply activities.
5. Business Finance Improvements
Timely completion of agreed goals that are defined on area CFO level contribution to improved enabling functions (i.e. ERP, trade tariffs, balance sheet control)
Identify and drive automation and standardization opportunities in reporting and forecasting.
Identify opportunities for improvement of in supply chain flows for both Distribution and other domains that use the supply chain network of Vanderlande Industries.
5. Leadership & Collaboration
Active participant in the Supply Finance team for Distribution.
Collaborate with project controllers with respect of supply activities in financial performance, compliance and improvement areas.
Collaborate with supply chain controllers for other domains and TAL, to drive one way of working in process, tools and systems.
Partner with senior managers to support decision making and continuous improvements in the regional supply activities.
What do we ask from you?
5+ years experience in Controlling, FP&A, Supply Chain Finance, or B2B project company.
Experience in working with an international leadership team.
Strong understanding of supply chain, manufacturing, procurement and working capital management.
Experience with S&OP processes and the financial role within supply planning cycles.
Proven experience with J-SOX or similar internal control/compliance frameworks.
Experience with standard costing, CAPEX, and IFRS/US GAAP.
Ability to influence and collaborate with senior business stakeholders.
Fluency in Dutch and English language is a must have.

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 4936 to € 6699 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
